Field Masking on upload and text area fields

Right now field masking is only available on date, external API, number, picklist, radio, select boxes, and text; requesting to add that functionality to Upload boxes and text area fields as well.

I see this idea was shipped and wanted to follow up on the status of when we anticipate the masking of File Upload form fields will go live for users?

Thank you. Could you please explain why you need this and how would you use it? What about files and downloads?

Add restrictions/permissions around accessing application attachments Merged

For customers with EAP programs, applicants may upload sensitive documents (with financial/medical info). When there are special Board/committee members who review these apps, the program managers do not want them to be able to see the attachments...
