Hello!
We use the platform not only for grantmaking but also to manage scholarship applications, and we’ve run into a recurring point of confusion for applicants.
When students are asked to “select your organization” or to provide information on an “organization” or “nonprofit”, the terminology doesn’t apply well in the scholarship context - students are not affiliated with organizations, and many get stuck or assume they’re doing something incorrectly. It would be extremely helpful if administrators could customize this language to alternatives such as “college,” “university,” or “institution” depending on the program type. In addition, it would be helpful if those substitutions in terminology were consistently available throughout the application process.
Providing the customizable terminology or a toggle to select “scholarship terminology” would significantly reduce confusion for applicants and make the platform more inclusive for these users.
Thank you for considering this enhancement.
