Ability to customize or enlarge font size

12 pt font is barely meeting accessibility standards - focus on applicant experience.

"Sub-optimal usability of the text size, contrast, and line-height in the form fields, poor formatting of the PDF exports of forms (various fonts, odd section breaks/page breaks). Definitely needs optimization."

Here are a few of my go-to references for web accessibility that might be helpful to pass along. They offer solid guidance on things like font sizes, contrast, and overall usability. In general, I’ve found it’s best not to rely on WCAG “minimums” for form fields, since minimums can technically pass while still creating a less-than-ideal experience for many users.

Looking at the screenshot, the label text is set at around 13px, which technically meets WCAG but can feel small, especially for longer questions. The contrast ratio of 8.5:1 also passes, but based on user feedback, the text still feels a bit faint. Increasing the contrast slightly, along with trying a slightly larger font size or a heavier weight, could help make the form easier to read and more comfortable for users.

Overall, there is a good opportunity here to refine both size and contrast to support better readability, particularly in form contexts. And as always, testing with real users will give the clearest insight into what changes will have the most impact.
