When a grant manager is editing a form when viewing an application, the only options are to save the changes and leave the page, or stay on the page. This does not allow for edits to be made and deleted, unless the user clicks the 'Back' button on the browser. It would improve user experience if changes did not have to be saved to stay on the page.

Hi Meg, the ask is not to remove auto-save. It's to allow a discard changes or x button to leave the modal. Today you cannot revert your changes. You have to use the browser back button to do so.
Thank you. All of our form responses are auto-saved, which is why only these options are available. You could revert your changes but we don't plan to change our auto-save functionality at this time.
Thanks for your response, Meg! When editing forms to test things, sometimes we enter test language that we then want to delete, but with the current setup we are unable to do so and then leave the form.
Thank you for your feedback. Were there changes you made that you wanted reverted? OR, did you make no changes and then found the language confusing?
