Ability to surface workflow level to applicant.

If applicable for the program, it would be helpful to show the workflow level to the applicant so they understand where in the review process the application is. Self-service for the applicant beside status would really save our team a lot of extra busy work. Recommend same function as GC Manager "View all activity" button in addition to "Manage application" button on applicant portal.

Our applications are internal only and the review process is very transparent. Applicants come to my team to know who an application is with and I have to act as the middle man to direct them to the individual where the application is under review so they can ask why there is a delay. This extraneous/offline email between my team and the applicant could be eliminated if they could see the workflow name themselves.

Quick follow up -- how is the applicant using the 'workflow name' to provide 'self-service? How is this helpful?

Notifying applicant of status isn't what's being asked. We would like the Workflow Level to be available to the user when they login.

Thank you for your feedback. The email applicant status functionality might meet this need. Here are instructions to enable it:

    Notify Applicant of Status

    1. Navigate to the Applications area.

    2. From the Applications tab, there are multiple ways to access the Notify of Status tool.

      • Option 1 - Select the ellipsis icon next to the application and then Notify of status.

      • Option 2 - Select the checkbox next to the applications and then select Notify of Status from the toolbar.

      • Option 3 - Select the application to open the Application View. From the workflow level, select the ellipses button and then Notify of status.

    3. From the Notify Applicant of Status modal, take the following actions:

      1. Select the email template to be used for this communication.
Note: The options that appear will be the default system email available as well as any copies you have created. Select the eye icon to the right of the email to preview it.

      2. Select the Add attachment link to select any files to send with this email.
Tip: Any attachments sent to an Applicant can be seen in the Communications tab of the Application View.

      3. Note: Any attachments sent via this link will only be sent with this instance of the email. They will not be attributed to the email template selected. If there are files that may be sent frequently with specific communications, it is recommended to create a customized email that includes this attachment.

      4. Optional - Provide a custom message.
